What is a Thailand e-VOA (Electronic Visa on Arrival)?
Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) is a program where citizens from 15 countries can obtain their visas once they enter Thailand, at the immigration checkpoint.
What are the requirements for obtaining an E-VOA(Visa on Arrival)?
The passport must be valid for over 30 days, and one page available for VISA stamp.
The applicant must have a confirmed ticket for the return trip within 15 days.
The applicant must be able to provide evidence of sufficient means of living (minimum 10,000 Baht/person, 20,000 Baht/family).
Once I obtain the E-VOA(Visa on Arrival) in Thailand, how long is the maximum stay allowed?
The maximum stay allowed is for 15 days.
Will I receive my E-VOA(Visa on Arrival) via electronic mail?
Please note that we DO NOT issue the actual visas. We will provide you with a pre-registration document with a QR code that must be presented upon Arrival. You will receive your visa stamp when you arrive at the "Visa on Arrival" counters with your pre-registration document at the airport.
Do I need a return ticket to receive a Thailand E-VOA(Visa on Arrival)?
If you do not have a plane ticket to show that you will leave Thailand within 15 days after you enter, you may be denied entry.
When should I be applying for E-VOA?
You can apply for an E-VOA from:
Minimum:48 hours from the current date
Maximum:30-days from the current date.
If you apply with dates that surpass the maximum date limit (for processing application), we will be holding the application for you until the date it becomes valid for processing your E-VOA.
How long is the Thailand E-VOA(Visa on Arrival) valid for?
The Thailand E-VOA(Visa on Arrival) on Arrival is valid for 15 days from the issue date (the date the visa is obtained in Thailand, NOT when this pre-registration is completed).
Which Airports accept the E-VOA(Visa on Arrival)?
The pre-approved E-VOA is only available at the following Air Ports:
Suvarnabhumi Airport| Don Mueang Airport| Phuket Airport| Chiang Mai Airport.
Can I get a refund if my E-VOA(Visa on Arrival) application is rejected?
Yes, a refund will be honoured unconditionally to any rejected application. Refunds will be processed usually within 1 business day of rejection notification. Refunds for rejected applications will be deducted $36usd Government statutory administration fee. Please refer to our Refund Policy.
